Content Marketing: Video content driving engagement

More and more people are shifting to a much more visual vocabulary to communicate with each other and with brands through the use of images, emoji, infographics, animated GIFs and of course video. Text is being supplanted by visual devices. And with this shift has come the increased focus on content marketing, particularly using visual content with video the driving heart of content marketing.

- YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine (after Google)
- Videos are 53 times more likely to show up on the 1st page of search results
- Videos can drive engagement upto 300%
